Rod is a very non-pretentious, laid-back, down to earth guy. A native of Aiken, South Carolina but raised in Anderson. I've lived in Augusta, GA; Miami, FL; Statesville, NC; Charlotte, NC; Sumter, SC; Tampa, FL; Greenville, SC; Atlanta, GA.

After years of moving around, I have recently decided to settle in Anderson, SC. I have come to realize the saying "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home" really is true and this is where my heart is. My family is the ultimate blessing in my life and sharing it daily with them gives me more than I could hope for. My parents, wow ... they place me in total awe.

It is safe to say that I am the "black-sheep" of the family. I lived it hard and wild for numerous years. Do I regret that? I don't really know how to comment on that right now. The story of the ant that worked throughout the summer gathering supplies and preparing for the winter ahead and the carefree Grasshopper (I think it was a grasshopper), that lived it up all summer,  poking fun at the ant making no provisions seems to have a strange familiarity.
